I’m trying to find my USB thing so I can upload pictures of the terrible terrible things we had to do yesterday, but I can’t find it right now. I’ll upload them later.

I spent a majority of yesterday ankle-deep in ice cold water yesterday. leggings hiked up to my thighs. sleeves rolled up. bucket in hand. bailing water into the toilet or shower. My entire family was with me so it wasn’t so bad. Except we had to do it twice. I’m trying to find out how many cubic feet of water we had to get out of the basement, but my dad is too busy trying to fix the sunpump so we don’t have to do that again. My mom is too busy vacuuming the water. I have to set up the dehumidifiers. omgosh. —;; RAIN! >:(

ANYWAYS. The OTHER side of Midland Avenue got electricity back last night. WE had to wait until this morning. —;; My family was one of the 3 families on my block who were too lazy to leave for the night. I slept in my 56 degree house. But BEFORE I fell asleep, Janet & I attempted to read with a dying flashlight (which didnt work out because the light was too dim). Janet suggested we play a game (the game was: blindly stick your hand in a bag full of crappy flavored lindt chocolates & taste it to see who gets the worst one. . only Janet would think up a game like that). Then the three of us (Janet, Daniel, and I) proceeded to make “Kevin” sounds. You know. . like the bird from UP? Yea. For a good hour. Daniel is still making the sound this morning. I’m not sure why- since the electricity is back up and he no longer has to entertain himself this way. —;; Weird.

My phone keeps dying and stuff. It’s pretty uncool. But whatever. I should probably do the homework I didn’t have time to do yesterday…which is ALL of it. . or maybe I’ll just watch the city :) to celebrate having electricity again. you know?

Having electricity makes it SO much easier to procrastinate.
